color, with intention

Painting is a mosaic of colors weaved into a seamless whole. (Igor Babailov)

Sometimes the simplest of exercises can teach you so much. My teacher, Dawn, instructed me to take on this exercise and begin the process of learning about color; a design tool I wish to utilize more in my work.

Once again, I learned color approach; leads to a clear path of design intention.

These studies work with color theory and thereby, limiting one’s palette;creating a more harmonious and composed work of art.

Even the black and white study had more design power, once I finished up with the color!
